Why Should You Unleash YOUR Inner Vixen!

Who doesn’t want to be a fantasy girl?

Learn to tantalize and enchant!

Why dance?  Women dance for a multitude of reasons, and it is an intimate and personal decision for every woman considering stepping out onto the stage for the first time.  That having been said, becoming an exotic entertainercan positively impact many areas of your life:  personal, professional, social, and financial, just to name a few.  Yes, really.  Need a little convincing?

Personal Empowerment – Reasons to become a Stripper

When you decide to give dancing a try and become a stripper, you will have to tackle head-on the loss of certain comforts we tend to take for granted in “normal”, everyday life.  Strippers and lap Dancers take off their clothes in front of people they don’t know, and “put themselves out there”, mingling, welcoming customers to the club and making sure that they are enjoying themselves and their visit to the strip club.

First this teaches you to be more appreciative of your body as you learn how it moves, and also force you to be more comfortable in your own skin (couldn’t resist the stripper humor, sorry!)

Secondly, this is beneficial to overcoming a great deal of shyness!  Simply making it to the audition, or to the class you intend to take before the audition, is a baby step in the right direction!

Finally, becoming an adult entertainer, stripper, lap dancer or striptease aartist also means that you get to experiment with different new looks and personas, until you find the combination that works best for you, effectively learning how to put your best entertainer face forward.  So, in exchange for certain comfort zones to which we have become accustomed, we develop other strengths and abilities which may ultimately teach us more about ourselves that we could possibly imagine!

Strippers have less stress!

Higher income potential, schedule flexibility, and being able to work while travelling or just on a whim while on vacation is a refreshing change from the normal day-to-day grind (heh heh heh) of being locked into a routine obligation that you don’t even enjoy.  No fun, just a paycheck.  Meanwhile, your job as an entertainer is to not only have fun, but spread fun!  Wear a crazy outfit, dance the Chicken Dance on stage, just spread some smiles!  Oh, unless you don’t like dancing, or flirting, or playing fantasy girl dress up every time you come to work.

Increased Physical Fitness - Dancing, just like any other fitness routine, if done regularly, will shape you up!  Not only will your body become leaner and stronger, but your flexibility and balance will benefit as well.  Body awareness will begin to sharpen as well, as you learn what you need to properly fuel  your body.  For example, many first time dancers have reported a large increase in the amount of water that they drink.

Camraderie - While you may or may not develop relationships with co-wrokers that extend beyond work, when you are at work, there is an undeniable solidarity that exists between the entertainers as a whole.  Call it the “Sisterhood of the Striptease” if you like, but I’ve heard it described most eloquently described this way, “Whether you’re an addict or a law student, in here, we’re all women first.”

Professional Benefits & Advantages for Strippers

Professional Advancement - Another advantage to dancing is that YOU determine the pace at which your career progresses. Many dancers start out as waitresses, just to get a feel for the club and the entertainment environment in general.  When they’re ready to make their stage debut, they usually have had time to get to know a few of the customers and most of the dancers, and don’t feel quite so alone for the audition  This method is the easiest way to make the initial transition into the industry. After becoming comfortable with their craft, some dancers want to go even further with their dance careers and become feature entertainers, which are booked through agencies, and are paid by the club as well as receiving higher prices for lap dances and VIP/Champagne Rooms, sales from merchandise, and of course, stage tips from her show.  Feature entertainers usually dance 1 – 3 sets per night, with each show being a themed 20 minute set with lavish costuming, props, light shows, choreography, and interactive games with the audience.

Professional Development - Exotic dancing will not only teach you how to be a dreamgirl, but will also leave you with experience and development in other areas that will aid you professionally long after you’ve retired the stilettos!  Traits from which your future ventures will benefit include sharpened sales skills, negotiation tactics, an ability to work with a wide array of personality types, customer service skills, utilization of teamwork to maximize profit and efficiency (Nash’s Law of Economics – divide and conquer – works every time!), an ability to maintain a positive attitude (it’s quite difficult to sell your company if you’re scowling at the world), and last but certainly not least….professional integrity.  If you have less than honest ways, people discover it quickly and are very slow to forget.  You don’t enjoy feeling hustled, do you?  Neither does anyone else.  Even if you don’t care to have regular customers or repeat business, customers DO talk.  Why, there are a multitude of gentlemen’s club review sites that they can both ger information from and post information on, as well.  It really is the same for any other industry; the business that is unprofessional in its conduct and will hustle you unfairly probably wouldn’t get your business again, would it? And so it is with entertaining.

Strippers Develop Great Social Skills!

Social Skills Development - There are so many people that you will be working closely with: clientele, other entertainers, waitresses, bartenders, DJs, housemoms, security, and management.  It’s absolutely essential that you learn how to manage and communicate with different personality types effectively.  This would be advantageous to your bottom line at work, and a valuable asset in your post-dancing marketability.

Social Networking - This is easy, fun, and beneficial to your money both now and later.  All you have to do is listen to your customer, pay attention to what he says.  Ask him for a business card, and write down all the details you can remember (don’t ever do this in front of him).  If you have a reputation for being pleasant, honest, and reliable, many opportunities will come your way, both while dancing and after you’ve retired the heels.  Eventually, you may find that you need a service or product that one of your business card customers can assist you with and maybe even cut you a deal.  You may even find job leads from customers.  I can’t tell you how many dancers I’ve known (at least 6) that have gotten jobs immediately after graduating college through the connections that they made through networking.

The Significant Financial Benefits of Being a Stripper

Here it is, the main reason most dancers first auditioned:  MONEY!!! However, as wonderful as all the money can be, please be warned that if the money is the only thing you like about entertaining, you won’t do it well, and you won’t do it long.  That being said, in most clubs, dancers make about $100 – $150 per half hour when they sell a VIP/Champagne room, and about $25 – $45 from single private dances.   If you are focused and stay goal oriented, the income potential is nearly limitless!  If you spent just half of an 8 hour shift in VIP, at $150 per half hour, you just made $1200! With this type of income, early retirement is not only possible, but practically guaranteed if you consult with a financial planner/advisor to put you on the right track.  How would you like to be debt-free and completely financially independent by the time you’re 30 – 35?  Work hard, plan smart, and there’s nothing to stop you from reaping the grand rewards of being a successful entertainer.
